Have you been curious about burlesque? Wanted try it out? But scared to commit to a full term?
I’m here to introduce you to the world of burlesque. Educate you on what it actually is and show you some bumps and grinds, how to get your strut on and much more.
This is designed for beginner to intermediate level but all are welcome (18 years + only). ALL Classes are focused on building body positivity and confidence

Tech and Lighting Course with Madame K
Madame K (aka Kristen) is a Theatre Teacher, director, choreographer and producer with nearly 30 years of experience on the stage and in the wings. She is joining Skye High Burlesque as a guest teacher to discuss all things lighting and tech so you are prepared when a producer asks you these things for a show.
2 week non performance course, covering the basics of lighting design, technology, and execution.
We will look at how to think about lighting design, colours and how to articulate your ideas and communicate with your producers and venue techs.

Skye High Burlesque has an amazing guest teacher joining our team, the incredible Tiffany Tassels. Tiffany is an epic solo Burlesque Artist, member of Young Bloods Burlesque and specialises in asseling.
6 week performance course focussing on the skill of booty shaking with assels (the tassels for your booty). Group performance at Wild With A Double D, Friday 8th July at Top Floor Nightclub, Mandurah
Limited performance spots available. However, once sold out, you are still able to attend this course as a casual student see above drop in class info (drop in classes will continue for the duration of this course) if a performance spot becomes available you will be offered it.
Recommended for Intermediate level and above

SOLO DEVELOPMENT COURSE : returning later in 2022
Solo Development – 3 week course
Are you a budding burlesque artist wanting to take the leap into solo performances or are you a little more established as a soloist but wanting to dig deeper into the creation of acts and character development.
This course will guide you through the stages of act creation, help with character development and stage presence, plus professionalism, including managing socials, applying for shows, choosing a name and much more.
Please note : this is an educational course not a performance course (you will not perform a solo at the end of this particular course with Skye High Burlesque)
Date : returning later in the year
Time : 7pm – 8.30pm (90 mins)

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private 1 on 1 lessons – I offer private 1 on 1 lessons / sessions where we can work on whatever you want to, from character and act development to choreography. One off sessions or on going mentorship is available. Flexible time slots to suit your busy life. Online or studio meetings.
Cost :
$45 – 1 hour session
$80 – 2 hour session
- plus studio hire if needed.
- Session can be done via zoom meeting, at my home studio or at DivaSquad dance studio in Forrestdale. If you require me to come to you there will be a travel fee added to your session.
