I have started this webpage and blog to discuss all aspects of my life and give advice on different topics from my knowledge, perspective and experiences. I don’t claim to know everything as I feel that once you believe you know everything, you then stop learning. The best part about having such a busy life is meeting so many different people and hearing their stories, which has also prompted me to stop talking about doing it and take action. Would you believe that writing was my least favourite subject at school. I’m literally giggling to myself whilst writing this, thinking what on earth are you doing, isn’t this like a nightmare to you (LOL). Biography
With eyes as doe as a deer, hair as black as ebony and skin as white as ivory, Delza Skye is one Snow White sprung from the woods. With a hint of Cruella De Vil, you’ll need more than an apple to grab her attention. More like a delicious glazed donut dipped in pink, yellow and blue sprinkles. With lips as red as a Valentine’s Day kiss and curve and swerve in all the right places, Delza is one bounding beauty with a bountiful booty and a smile that brightens even the most perfect summer’s day.
A multifaceted role model and an all-round talent – Delza is not only an awarded pinup but a fierce burlesque artist, teacher and mentor, producer, published model, photographer, writer, makeup artist and the owner of her own boutique beauty salon, Saran Pike Beauty. Hailing from the vintage world of classic pinup, her dazzling demeanour and sweet cheek has seen her sweep numerous pinup titles and sashes starting in 2018 when she was crowned Pinup Prom Queen and her most recent titles Miss Moderne – West Coast Winner and Miss Moderne – Australia Runner Up for Miss Vintage Pinup Australia 2021.
Delza was the covergirl of Sex Kitten Pinup Magazine and Retro Lovely, also gracing the glossy pages of Garters and Grills, Smitten Kitten Pinup Magazine and Pinup Society Magazine where she also published her article, “Body Positivity and Confidence”.
2019 saw her blossoming into the Perth burlesque community, Delza competed in the inaugural Apprentease contest and also becoming a troupe member of The After Dusk Darlings. Most recently accepted into the New Zealand Burlesque Festival 2020 and The Perth International Burlesque Festival 2021.in Burlesque Idol in the Newcastle final in 2019 and the Western Australian final in 2020 and 2021. She’s performed at the Fringe World Festival (Perth and Adelaide) in 2019, 20, 21 and 22 making stage appearances in the award winning shows A Disney Tribute: Once Upon a Teaser and A Night At The Opera – A Queen Tribute Burlesque Show. Now the Owner and Director of Skye High Burlesque and Producer of 007 – Licence To Thrill.
Under the mentorship of renowned Australian burlesque icon Miss Alyssa Kitt, Delza is blossoming as a performer and certainly found her own unique voice. With a heart that is open for all, Delza Skye is known in the community as one powerfully poised pinup that cracks the mirror of perfection. The Skye’s the limit for this powerhouse.

More About ME
My Beauty World
In 1999 I graduated beauty college with credits and a commendation award and by the end of 2000 I opened my very own salon. My salon went from an all in one beauty room at the back of a hair salon in a hotel to a 5 room day spa with staff. I had my salon in the city for 14 years until I decided that working from home was the best option for myself and my little family. I have a beautiful custom built (by my husband) boutique beauty room at my home and I couldn’t be happier. I have been in business for 19 years now and still to this day I have a few of my very first clients still coming to see me. I now specialise in waxing and makeup but do almost all beauty services.
My Pinup World
My pinup journey started in 2014 when I decided to enter the Miss Perth Pinup Calendar competition. I had never dressed like this before but I had always loved the look. It took me weeks to get use to wearing red lipstick and now I can’t live without it. After that first photo shoot I was hooked but it did take a few years to transition over to being a fulltime pinup. I’d say 90% of the time I’m dressed pinup and the other 10% is what I call my lazy days…. jeans, tshirt and simple make up.
From my very first pinup photo shoot to now I’ve done many more shoots with a range of amazing photographers, been in the Miss Perth Pinup Calendar 3 times, published in 1 Australian and 3 international pinup magazines several times now and was the cover girl for Smitten Kitten Pinup Magazine (formally known as Sex Kitten Pinup Magazine), competed in many pinup parade competitions and I was crowned Perth Pinup Prom Queen 2018, Miss Spring Glamour Runner Up 2019, Crowed favourite at Miss Sou’West 2019 and most recently being crowned Miss Summer Glamour 2020. I was also awarded two awards at the Perth Pinup Christmas Party ‘Tenacious Perth Pinup Of The Year’ and ‘Supportive Perth Pinup Of The Year’ 2019.
My Burly World
I first stepped out on stage and performed my first ever burlesque solo on the 12th December 2015. Since then I’ve been hooked and have worked hard on developing my style and character over the years. I would best describe my on stage persona as dramatic, fierce, confident and a whole lot of filthy cheek. After leaving the studio I was at, I have bloomed and found my girl squad, Ivy Temptress, Madame Demi Diva, Calypso D’light and myself make ‘The After Dusk Darlings’. Performing together and also as independent performers. In March 2019 I travelled to Newcastle to compete in my first burlesque competition, Burlesque Idol. What an absolutely amazing experience. Then in May 2019 competed in the first ever Apprentease – Burlesque Excellence Awards. Most recently competing in Burlesque Idol 2020 in my home state, Perth. I’ve performed in many amazing shows including Ivy’s Oddites, A Night At The Opera ‘A Queen Tribute Burlesque Show’, Boudoir Burlesque, Once Upon A Teaser, Red Light Confidential and Light’s Camera Burlesque, to name a few. With biggest career highlight being accepted to perform at The New Zealand Burlesque Festival Spectacular Tease 2020.
